Basic Concept of Gap Filler.
The basic problem for two-way radio communications when using REPEATERS is that the TERMINAL (mobile/portable) radio can hear the repeater but is not able to talk back (access) the repeater.
GAP FILLER is then used to solve this problem. One or more RECEIVERS simulating the repeater’s receiver is placed at predetermined locations to resolve this matter.

Signal Strength.
There is LIMITED benefit in raising the mast at the repeater.
- Overlaps must have high signal strengths.
- To raise the Transmitter RF Power has got no benefit.
- It is better to have more Receivers (more sites).
- Portable radios can do the same job as mobile radios.
Maintenance Issues.
- Our equipment does not require technical people with high expertise.
- A Two-way Radio Technician will have all the know how to maintain and set up the system.
- It is modular and it is easy to expand the system.
Why Gap Filler?
- The right technology for modern times.
- Spectral efficient.
- Provides excellent coverage at the right price.
- Few alternatives offer the same coverage, and you do not need to change existing communications equipment.
- No need for extra frequencies.
